Documentary Photography

     Documentary Photography is critical for educating and informing the World. Photos are one of the easiest things to mass produce and distribute. Documentary captures the emotions, setting and can give people an idea of what is going on and help to put them in that situation.  http://socialdocumentary.net/  This other link does the same thing that James does with his photos. They all tell a story, each photo showing a different angle of that story and making you see from 360 degree angles in some ways. I believe it is ethical to photograph people dying, it is a way of letting the world know of their struggle. This knowledge will prevent something like what is happening to them from ever happening again. All of these photos seem very somber to me. Someone who would risk their lives to get these photos is a person who is very selfless and cares for the greater good. The other person's photos do not all have the serious tone that James' do.
